As a busy mom of two with a full-time job, I am always on the lookout for great quality products that would help me to run my household operations smoothly and keep my sanity! With summer still in full swing (I am ignoring all fall sales), here are my favorite products that I have tried and happily recommended to my friends. Because we all know – happy and healthy kids is all that matters!

Have save fun outdoors with this cool tool – the bug thing sucks the poison from any bug bites reducing pain and swelling. One question I get asked often – does this really work? The answer is YES! And it has saved me not only from wasps and bee stings, but from good ‘ol mosquito bites too! I can finally enjoy outdoors without itching for days afterwards! After getting one, I ended up getting one for every purse and beach bag. Bonus tip: read Amazon reviews, they are pretty hilarious!
Anti-Itch Cooling & Soothing Gel
Bug bites are bound to happen! I treat all the ones that don’t get sucked out right away with this handy cooling Benadryl Gel. I’ve tested all itching gels on the market and this one works the best for mosquitoes and bees and wasps.
Rechargeable Bug Zapper Racket
Take your fly swatter to the next level with this rechargeable bug zapper. It burns bugs on contact with satisfying sound. I’d hide them from young kids, but I had 2 teenagers use them over the weekend and they caught all flies in under 5 minutes and spend good amount of time catching mosquitoes. It’s a win-win!
Car Seat Buckle Release Tool
Have you ever broke a nail trying to get your kid out of car seat? This genius device has been designed by a grandma and featured on a shark tank! Now you can safely and painlessly get your kid in and out of their car seat!
Miracle Hair Detangler That is Safe for Kids
Beach hair? Pool hair? This miracle detangler can handle it all! What makes it different from other products on the market – it is free from parabens, sulfates and other junk and it has a nice smell. I usually use few spritz after shower and we haven’t had as many tangles. Perfect find for my little Rapunzel!
gLovies Disposable Gloves for Kids
I’ve used this product long before the pandemic – messy arts & crafts, cooking, household chores or going to a porta-potty. My kids have sensitive skin and wearing disposable gloves beats using hand sanitizer. Now these help my kids to remember not to touch their face and nose when we are in public. My favorite product of all!
360 Degree Seesaw Teeter-Totter
We’ve spent more time outside this year and this seesaw was such a big hit, we even took it indoors on the rainy days. It’s sturdy, fun and has no sharp angles, which is perfect because it actually rotates 360 degrees. It lists maximum weight as 99 lbs per seat, so we’ve had kids from 3 to 11 enjoy it year round.
No-tie Shoelaces for Kids and/or Adults
Originally I got a set for my son who kept tripping up on his shoelaces. I got extras and gave them to my mom, husband and even expecting girlfriend. I am ordering another set for myself as we speak.
Cozy Speakers for Zen Car Rides
My kids love headphones (because they have very different tastes in TV programming), but they always complain that their ears hurt from the headphones or they keep falling off, or feel to snug. I thought I can’t win and then I bought these headband headphones for airplane ride and ended up using them daily during our car rides. It’s a win! Now I can listen to my audio book while kids are listening to Elmo or whoever else. You’re welcome!

Some days kids need help winding down. This trusted kids brand has a low dose of natural, non-habit forming melatonin. This has been a game changer for us! Summer Favorite – Start a Water Balloon Fight!

Anytime we have friends over, they want to have a water balloon fight and with these balloons I have taken myself out of this equation and I now only need to remind them to pick all the “odds & ends” after they are done. I was skeptical at first, but after buying my first kinetic sand kit at the kids expo, I became a loyal customer. Kids love to play with it, it’s not as messy as playdough and oh-so-satisfying to the touch. Most importantly, it’s made from real sand and safe to play with! I ended up giving away my last batch as a birthday party favors packed with playdough shapes.

I will go to great lengths to get my kids outside and keep them away from screen. This handy set includes 12 mystery dinosaur eggs with 12 excavation tools. This can be used as a group activity, party favor or I just give one per kid few times a week when boredom strikes. These plush crafts have been my go-to for crafts, birthday gifts and party favors. This is our favorite kit, but the company has anything from toys to pillows and accessories. Kids use little hook to pop in pieces of fabric. It’s safe and engaging and they get a cool toy keepsake when they’re finished!
